Maple Pecan Granola (Vegan and Gluten-Free)

This crunchy, sweet, and simple granola will be your new go-to snack, breakfast, and yogurt-topper. You can add any extra mix-ins that you want and the recipe couldn't be any easier.

Let's talk about the recipe!

All the ingredients, in glass jars.

Ingredients

  • Rolled oats
  • Pecans
  • Chia seeds
  • Salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil (melted)
  • Maple syrup
All of the ingedients in a blender

Blend the Granola

Preheat oven to 350f and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and pulse several times until combined.

We're modern bakers, you and I. We don't need to spend time chopping, stirring, and mixing. You can if you want, but the blender is a huge time saver here. If you're one of the lucky few with a dish-washable blender, this recipe couldn't get any easier for you. Just blend and bake!

Bake the Granola

Spread the mixture onto the parchment paper in one even layer. Bake for 15 minutes, remove from oven and stir, then place back in the oven and bake for another 15 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely

The more even your layer of granola, the more evenly crisp and baked it will get, so spread that granola flat onto the parchment paper. Bake until golden and enjoy!
